Scope and Contents
An order signed by Commissioners of Indian Affairs in Albany in 1754. They provide a travel pass for an Esopus woman, formerly one of twelve prisoners taken by Seven Nations Indians allied with the French, to be escorted by Jacob Clement through Albany back to her home during the French and Indian War.
