Charles Winthrop Crockett papers
Scope and Contents
The Charles Crockett papers (MC 46) contain a small array of materials regarding Crockett's student years at RPI and his career as a professor of Mathematics and Astronomy. The scrapbook, 1881-1888, includes invitations, clippings and programs of RPI events (an index follows the inventory). The Crockett volume slide rules, large circular slide rules, were printed by W. & L.S. Gurley Co. of Troy, N.Y. A single letter, 1930 regards field astronomy methods.
