Samuel J. Fields scrapbook
Scope and Contents
The Samuel James Fields scrapbook (MC 88) contains a wide array of memorabilia relating to student life at Rensselaer. Newspaper clippings, commencement programs, menus, tickets, dance cards, and other items offer a glimpse into student life on campus and in various New York cities, from the late 1860’s to the early 1900’s. The scrapbook also contains several sketches by Frederic Cozzens.
