This oral history collection contains a cassette tape and transcript, created by Gretchen Koerpel, in an interview with Professor Emeritus Stephen E. Wiberley, dated July 10, 1996. Topics include his education at Williams College, work leading to a position as an analytical chemist on the Manhattan Project during World War II, graduate education at RPI, postwar career as a professor of chemistry at Rensselaer, infrared spectroscopy and boron hydrides, administrative work leading to a NASA-sponsored research center at RPI, and his role as Dean of the Graduate School in the 1970s.
