This album contains an assortment of photographs of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, and its surroundings, including the March 1913 flooding of the Hudson River and Troy, and photographs of various unidentified people and places. Photographs of RPI include the exteriors of RPI buildings as well as interior shots with engineering equipment (circa 1910). There are single photographs of sites in and around Troy including the Old Burden Water Wheel. The album also contains three loose postcards depicting an RPI flag rush event, each is dated October 24-25, 1915 on the reverse and may be related to the class of 1917 flag rush.
