Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute lecture notes
Scope and Contents
The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute lecture notes (1993-15) collection contains two notebooks. An 1850 volume, which is unattributed, contains notes on algebra, botany, chemistry, geology, geometry, and surveying. The second volume, which appears to be of a later date, contains duplicated pages of notes by M.G. Crockett; topics include algebra, chemistry, analytics, differential and integral calculus, botany, mechanics and machines, structures, railroads, and astronomy. Curiously, no student by that name is known to have attended Rensselaer.
