R.P.I. Players records
Scope and Contents
This collection (AC 29) holds a wide range of records pertaining to the Players and their theatrical productions. Materials include the club's constitution, minutes, correspondence, financial records, membership information, posters and promotional materials, production information, playbills, photographs and photo albums, scrapbooks, t-shirts, recordings, and Playhouse floor plans and elevations. There is also a separate list of productions appended to the end of the inventory.

Biographical or Historical Information
The RPI Players are a theatrical club composed of Rensselaer students, staff, and faculty members, as well as people from the local community. The purpose of the RPI Players is to foster an interest in all phases of the theater as well as to provide theatrical entertainment. Formed in 1929, the Players succeeded an earlier Drama Club on campus. In addition to presenting several theatrical productions each year, the club maintains the RPI Playhouse and is affiliated with the honorary theater fraternity Alpha Psi Omega.
