This collection (AC 40) has been compiled by staff of the Institute Archives and Special Collections department at Rensselaer over many years. It serves as a drop file for miscellaneous items that do not warrant individual cataloging, but which provide useful information about topics of interest to our researchers. Many of the subjects deal with events and activities associated with the school, Institute policies, awards and honors, degrees, schools and departments, academic programs, statistical data, and organizations associated with RPI. The collection also contains files on campus buildings, businesses associated with the Rensselaer Technology Park, and topics related to Troy, New York, and the surrounding area. Materials include a wide range of articles, reports, small-scale building plans and elevations, and ephemera of all sorts.
