This series includes material from the original John A. Roebling wire company, in addition to records of the John A. Roebling’s Sons Company. The material consists of correspondence, notes and designs, advertisements, labor and financial records. Noteworthy items include documentation of the Williamsburg Bridge project and the detailed design drawings of wire rope machines and components. Oversize material is housed separately.
