NASA Awards, Honors and Ceremonies, contains chronologically arranged files documenting the awards and honorary degrees which GML received for his contributions to the Apollo program, aeronautics and astronautics, and government service. Also included are files for such ceremonies as an Apollo 11 post-mission dinner, and GML's NASA retirement party and portrait unveiling. NASA Collected Materials contain additional papers pertaining to awards, honors and events. Series VIII ARTIFACTS includes GML's Outstanding Leadership medal, and one of his Distinguished Service medals.
