This collection (MC 79) contains reprints of addresses and published articles written by John Alexander Low Waddell from 1886-1930. Topics covered include bridge design, engineering education, economics in engineering and the Chinese railway. The collection also includes handwritten bridge specifications on graph paper created during Waddell’s time as a consulting bridge engineer in Kansas City, Missouri, dated 1897-1898.
