Ricketts profesional papers include copybooks of correspondence concerning various engineering projects throughout New York State, as well as some projects in Vermont and Pennsylvania from 1886-1909. Two of his major endeavors appear to have been as consulting engineer to the Rome, Watertown, and Ogdensburg Railroad, and his post with the Public Improvement Commision in Troy. A photograph album is also part of this series and illustrates some of Ricketts' projects.
