Content Description
This collection contains 8 mm and 16 mm films, mostly depicting RPI men's hockey and lacrosse games during the period when Ned Harkness coached the teams in the 1940s and 1950s. Highlights include footage of the lacrosse team competing in a demonstration game at the London Olympics in 1948 and the NCAA hockey championships in 1953 and/or 1954. Also included are two undated tributes labeled "Ned Harkness Day" and "Harkness First Family of Lacrosse."
